Celebrating July Fourth at the US Consulate
JUCCCE was invited to attend the Shanghai American consulate's celebration of the 239th anniversary of American Independence Day. The theme was "A Night in Hollywood", highlighting American film classics and American cinema food. The event also promoted American agricultural products and cooking, with a cooking seminar given by American chef Marc Murphy.
The consular general thanked the attending Chinese government officials and wished for greater cooperation between American organizations and government bodies with their Chinese counterparts.
The consular staff commended JUCCCE and chairperson Peggy Liu for their determination and tireless work ethic in bringing closer cooperation between China and the international community.
