Inspires Girl Scouts to become Food Heroes at a Sproutworks Workshop
Program Director of Food Heroes, Lucy Luo, with the help of JUCCCE interns spread the messages of becoming a Food Hero to a group of Girl Scouts from a local international school. The children learned about sustainable food, that is both good for the body and for the planet though an engaging hands-on workshop. Celebrating International Children's Day
On Monday, June 1st 2015, a team of JUCCCErs celebrated International Kids’ Day with a group of 36 local primary school students (黄浦区卢湾一中心小学). We hosted a series of fun activities for the kids on the ‘Eat a Rainbow Every Day’ theme to learn about the health benefits of eating different colored foods. On Sunday, May 10th, JUCCCErs returned to Sproutworks restaurant to host another activity day with the Daning Mothers' Club. Where Does My Food Come From?
On April 5, 2015, JUCCCE and Sproutworks restaurant teamed up again to teach young kids about healthy eating! This time, our theme was ‘Where Does My Food Come From?’ Kids aged five to nine and their parents all joined us from the Daning Mother’s Club. Both kids and parents joined in to paint a colorful mural for the exterior wall at Sproutworks.
