SportsWorld and JUCCCE Partner

SportsWorld, a summer camp for children 3-12 centered around international sports and activities, partnered with JUCCCE to pilot the Food Heroes curriculum. For eight weeks during the summer of 2017, JUCCCE staff and interns visited four SportsWorld locations around Shanghai and taught 45-minute lessons using the Food Heroes curriculum and materials. JUCCCE taught the campers about a different topic each week all pertaining to healthy eating. In addition, JUCCCE provided WeChat content promoting SportsWorld and the Food Heroes program and shared tips for parents to continue and encourage their children's food education at home.

At the end of the eight weeks, the feedback gained from the children and the experience of teaching the curriculum helped to shape the Food Heroes curriculum into what it is today.
